The Ottawa Rapid FC women’s professional soccer team is the newest and most exciting pro sports team in the City! Competing in Canada’s first womens’ pro soccer league – the NSL – they recently clinched a playoff berth with their 9th win of the season, and you can cheer them on as their maiden season winds down at TD Place Stadium at Lansdowne Park.
These super pro soccer stars have been training all season at the RA turf soccer field right alongside our 60+ games on Tuesday mornings…so, this is a great chance to see the women in action play their fast, exciting brand of soccer!
If you would like to attend the Rapid FC game on September 26th, please send an email money transfer in the amount of $35.10 for each ticket you require to lorne.abugov@mainstreeter.ca. Your discounted tickets will be sent to your phone or computer closer to the game date. Also, if you would like to bring a youngster to the game with you, for example, a grandchild, they can participate as a ball kid for the game if they are aged between 12 and 18 years of age, and they can attend the game for free. Just email the youngster’s name to Lorne at the same address as noted for the money transfer.
