ROOKIE PRESIDENT’S 2026 WELCOME

I am very honoured to follow Peter Atkinson and assist your dedicated Executive for our 2026 season.  In my six playing years, I have watched Steve, then Robin, and now Peter demonstrate the traditions, respect and strong sense of community which our League was founded upon in 1992 back at Carlington Park.  We are truly lucky to have had Peter’s leadership as VP Operations and more recently as our President.  We are also lucky that each one of us, as Players, keeps these same values of social community and respect forefront as we play recreational softball, for fun.  Read Paddy’s full message HERE

Batting Practice is not yet scheduled

Batting practices are Wednesday mornings at 9:30 at Pierre Rocque Park in Orleans, situated at the north end of St Pierre St, which runs off St Joseph Blvd, 3 blocks west of Place d ‘Orleans Dr.  Just show up and have fun!

 

 

Volunteer umpires are an important part of our league.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS
Please check here for schedule updates. In case of rain or excessive heat, an email will be sent out on gameday morning by 8:00. Please show up at the RA if you haven’t heard anything either from the league or your Captain. It may be raining at your house but not at the RA. Games that have been rained out or scorched out are rescheduled depending when diamonds are available.

AFFILIATED LEAGUES
The Ottawa Competitive Senior Slo Pitch League (OCSSPL) is the highest level of slo-pitch in Ottawa for men 60 years of age and older.  We play double headers every Thursday morning from May to September at Brewer Park. Visit our website at ottawaseniorslopitch.com for more information.

“Monday Ball” is a co-ed 50+ slo-pitch league that plays at Brewer Park Monday mornings at 10am and 11:30am.  We play from the first Monday in May to the last Monday in September.    Contact foxball@rogers.com
